Egipcia Pérez holds a bachelor’s and a Master degree in Architecture, with a specialization in Sustainability from Florida International University. She has experience in Corporate, Residential, Mixed-use and Healthcare Projects Design & Development, Construction Administration, Environmental Psychology and Communications.
She has been Associate director for The American Institute of Architects, AIA and is actively engaged in Miami Chapter Women’s in Architecture committee. She a big advocate for the role of women in architecture, diversity, generational integrity and for creating awareness about the importance of wellbeing in fostering performance, engagement and better relationships in the workplace.
Egipcia is also a Speaker and organizing committee member of Speakers for Change for the Health and Well-Being Pillar, where she shares her research in Design and analyze how scientifically the physical spaces where we live and work impact our mental, physical and emotional health and will provide them with tools to improve these aspects of their lives thanks to design strategies.
A few years she experienced serious health issues caused by stress, in some cases ending in hospital ER, so she decided to turn her life around by using her professional background in architecture and environmental physchology to analyze how spaces matter in shaping people behavior and develop strategies to alleviate stress, provide wellbeing and utilize proven research data as drivers for organizational performance. Her main goal is to provide organizations with the ability to measure, asses and take timely appropriate actions to provide a psychologically healthy workplace fosters employee well-being while enhancing organizational performance, thereby benefiting both employees and the organization through workplace design and coaching.









ENVIRONMENT MATTERS
The negative stress has become the number one health problem in the United States, a major contributor of heart disease, and often the source of numerous psychological problems. Job stress is estimated to cost U.S. industry $300 billion a year in absenteeism, diminished productivity, employee turnover and direct medical, legal and insurance fees.
By creating healthy workplaces we can help employees manage the negative effects of stress to increase productivity and performance.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAPPINESS AUDIT
We perform workplace site assessments through a combination of unique diagnostic tools, including the “Environmental Happiness Workplace Audit”, a 29-point questionnaire which is applied to members of the organization with the objective of measuring employee’s satisfaction, engagement, performance and wellbeing in relation to how they experience their physical work environment and comparing them to optimal levels. All responses are kept confidential and anonymous.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAPPINESS SOLUTIONS
We carry out extensive research on how physical environment affects employee behavior.
We formulate and make recommendations to support specific client needs based on diagnostic analysis.
Our practical solutions address issues such as cognitive overload, environmental stress, poor group cohesiveness or engagement, lack of motivation and growth among others.

COACHING
We raise awareness, provide conferences and help organizations understand the relationship between the physical workspace and its impact on employee behavior, satisfaction, commitment and wellbeing by integrating the science of environmental physchology and evidence based design.
